June, 1988 - Theodore “Teddy” Persico, nephew of Colombo family boss Carmine “The Snake” Persico, is sentenced to 20-years-to-life for drug dealing.
On three separate occasions, he had sold more than thirteen ounces of cocaine to undercover officers.
Persico was paroled in 2004 after serving almost 16 years.
He turns 62 later this year and has spent more than 30 years in New York or Federal prison from four separate convictions.
